I prefer being able to get my players quickly so I can use them as much as possible, having to grind out an incredibly rare item for hours is just not appealing to me. I remember having to play against the same team about 15 times just to get a single palpack item which just gets mind-numbingly tedious. The grind is still there for sure, and it's much worse than the previous games imo. See, I'd agree with you if the drop rates for most palpack items weren't so frustratingly low. Inazuma Eleven 3 was even worse, you had to grind boring battles for coins without any guarantee to get them and when you get them it's pure chance if you get the player you want, at that point it isn't fun to get any new characters and with that the incredible amounts of content the game has is ruined even though I want to play all of those many competition routes it's just not fun to do when you can't build up your own team This is way better than how they did it in Inazuma Eleven 1 and 2, there you would just mindlessly grind against the same team for friend points then just type in a name and get the player which didn't feel rewarding at all, in Inazuma Eleven 1 it was even worse since you also had to wait before your search got processed, that combined with a lack of content made it nearly impossible to get a lot of new players during the story and since there were only 2 competiton routes there also wasn't any reason to go scouting after beating Zeus
